Find Your New Best Friend

Every animal deserves a safe place to land—and every adopter deserves the chance to find the right match.

At Operation Resilience Rescue Resources (ORRR), we help connect rescued animals with loving, committed families. Some animals are rescued directly through ORRR, while others are placed with us through our rescue partners.

The Adoption Process

1. APPLY
Complete an adoption application so we can learn about your home, lifestyle, and what you're looking for in a companion.

⬇️

2. MEET
Once your application is reviewed, we'll help arrange a meet-and-greet with the animal you're interested in.

⬇️

3. APPROVE
Our goal isn't simply to approve an application—it's to make the right match for both the animal and your family.

⬇️

4. BRING THEM HOME
Once everything is finalized, it's time for the best part: bringing your new family member home! 🏡🐾

Adoption Requirements

Our requirements may vary depending on the animal and the rescue organization responsible for their placement.

Generally, adopters should:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Have a safe and stable home

  • Have permission to have pets if renting

  • Provide appropriate veterinary care

  • Be prepared for the financial and lifelong responsibility of pet ownership

  • Agree to keep required vaccinations and veterinary care current

  • Meet any specific requirements listed for the individual animal

Fenced yards are not automatically required. Some dogs may require a securely fenced yard depending on their individual needs, energy level, breed, or history. These requirements will be clearly listed in the pet's profile.

Every animal is an individual. Our goal is to find the home that best fits that animal—not simply the first available home.

Adoption fees

Adoption fees help offset the cost of preparing rescued animals for their next chapter.

Each pet's profile will clearly show their individual adoption fee and what is included.

When applicable, adoption fees may include:

  • Spay or neuter

  • Age-appropriate vaccinations

  • Microchip

  • Veterinary examination

  • Basic medical care

  • Parasite prevention/deworming

  • Other medical treatment received while in rescue

Some animals may have additional medical needs or adoption requirements. These will be explained before adoption so there are no surprises.

🏠 Not Seeing Your Perfect Match?

Don't give up!

New animals arrive through ORRR and our rescue partners regularly. The animal you're looking for may not be listed yet.

You can also follow ORRR on social media to see new rescue arrivals, adoption updates, and animals looking for their forever homes.

🌟 Note

ORRR works with rescue partners to help animals move from overcrowded or unsafe situations into foster care and, ultimately, loving homes. Because some animals remain under the care of their partner rescue, adoption requirements and fees may vary by organization. Your pet's profile will tell you who is responsible for the adoption and any specific requirements.
